思えば尊さんは昔からこの競技の未来を考えていましたよね。TV放送が最盛況だったころにTV主導じゃなくて自分たち主導の試合を確立しないとこの競技の未来は長生きしていかないということを、TV放送が自粛になるずいぶん前からおっしゃっていて、そのことが確立する前に悲しいことが起きて選手の皆さんは日本での活動の場を失って・・・。その時に初めて尊さんのおっしゃっていたことの本当の意味が理解できた私でした。尊さんは本当に先見の明がおありなんだなぁと思ったことを思い出します。

今回も、ですね。尊さんに出来る何か。きっときっとあると信じています。何かをアドバイスすら出来ないですが・・・。出来ることならその力に少しでもなれたらと、願ってやみません。

先日のバーミンガムの予選の時、初めて試合を見せていただいて、また、小林さんともお話する機会があり、小林さんが色々なことを考えながら真摯に競技に取り組む姿勢は、私のココロに訴えるものがありました。謙虚に、でも信念を持って、強く．．．何かを極めたいとき、大切なことなんだな、と改めて気づかされました。お話をすることが出来たことに感謝です。チャタヌーガには行けませんが、応援しています。

シンガポール大会で応援ポスターにサインを頂いた者です。
現地の人たちは、あの大会後、新聞やニュースで小林君の存在を知り、フードファイトに興味を示していましたよ。
小林君の努力は、アメリカでそうだったように、
アジアでも確実に実っています。
今大会もシンガポールのみんなとともに、遠くから応援しています！
頑張って下さい！！

本当に誠実に生きれば周りも誠実に接してくれる、尊さんの誠意のたまものだと思います。
日本でやるためには、それもまた長い道のりになりそうですが、私も尊さんのブログを見て、スポーツと認識しましたし、食品の問題が多い今を逆手にとっていい方向に変えられれば
不可能ではないと思います！

そうですね。もっとアジア、日本でもフードファイターが
拡がればいいですよね。
最近、日本でもギャル曽根ちゃんなど大食い、早食いをテーマにした
番組は増えてきてますが。
はたして、そのとらえ方はまだ、ビックリ人間みたいに興味本位で
番組を作っているような。
恐らく、制作サイドも過去の事故などを考慮して一歩踏み切れないのかもしれませんね。
しばらくは外圧効果で頑張るしかないのかな。（アメリカで取り上げられると日本も注目するから）

なんかこっちがありがとうって言っちゃいたくなりました(*^_^*)熱い気持ちを実感しました！私は尊くんの側で応援できないけど気持ちは側にいるつもりです。

私は尊くんみたいに上手く文章にして伝えられませんが、
用は気持ちの変化ですよね＾＾
どんどん夢を追いかけていけば、その時の感情や想いは変わっていくものですよね♪
日本人として、アメリカで活躍している尊くんも、原点は日本だと思います☆
日本やアジアにまで広がってほしいなと思いますね！！！
でも1番は、このスポーツに一生懸命な人達がやる。ってことが大事なのかなとも思いますけどね★
